"View from Above" is what I call this unique piece of jewelry. This one of a kind ring is made of hand textured sterling silver and Blue Opalized Wood stone from Indonesia. This stone is actually petrified wood that derives its awesome colors from the minerals (copper, iron and manganese) in the ground and water that it was buried in for over a million years!
The Blue Opalized Wood cabochon is surrounded by beaded wire making it more distinctive. The setting measures 1” x ¾” atop your finger. The sterling silver ring shank is textured with a floral design. The ring band has been antiqued and then burnished to a warm glow. This ring is made of a moderately thick but flexible sterling silver and is expandable from a size 5 to size 10.
My adjustable rings come with a 4” tall ring stick. This will enable you to size your ring up and down without distorting the shape of the ring shank, keeping it nice and round. Fingers swollen? Size it up. Cold outside? Size it down. Just in the mood to wear it on a different finger? Go ahead. And protect the shape of your ring while changing your mind. Instructions included. (Super simple). Oh…you can also store your ring right on the stick…how convenient!

Gold-filled materials are an excellent alternative to solid gold, offering gold's characteristic warm yellow or blushing rose tones at a fraction of the cost. At the same time, gold-filled is more durable and retains more value than gold-plated pieces.
The value of gold-filled is greater than gold-plated because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film, as is the case with gold-plated items. The karat gold covering also significantly increases the tarnish resistance of the base metal substrate.
"14/20" definition: "14/20" gold-filled material is made with 14-karat gold, and the gold represents 1/20th (or 5%) of the total weight of the material.
